ANDREGG GEOMATICS was contracted to complete surveying, mapping and right of way engineering for 15 miles of the proposed regional sewer pipeline connecting Auburn with the Lincoln Regional Waste Water Treatment Facility, in California. The work authorized by the Placer Nevada Wastewater Authority (PNWA) and directed by the 5 regional stakeholders, was contracted with Stantec Engineering, the prime engineering design firm.
Through 15 miles of rural Placer County, the project included a 300 foot wide mapping corridor along roads and cross country and a Land Net of over 350 parcels. The right of way engineering included reviewing dozens of Preliminary Title Reports and supporting documents and Record Maps, determining road rights of way and easement boundaries and preparing 35 legal description document packages for appraisal and acquisition. The photogrammetric design level topographic mapping at 1 inch = 40 feet, with 1 foot contours, was augmented by field design surveys for critical conform and facilities engineering design. The project included high resolution color ortho-rectified imagery of a 500 foot wide corridor along the proposed route.
