AndreggGeomatics was recently selected as the surveying and mapping firm team member to provide surveying services for the new, $1.2 Billion, 1.5 million sq ft. Bradley West International Terminal project at Los Angeles International Airport. The new terminal will include 9 new gates that will handle large commercial airlines along with new concourse and passenger boarding areas. Construction will start in early 2010. Two of the gates are scheduled to open in early 2012. The project team for the Bradley West Terminal includes joint venture partners Walsh- Austin and Fentress Architects as the designer. The overall project is expected to be completed by mid-2013. Airport officials estimate that the project will employ about 4,000 construction workers. Andregg has opened a field office in Los Angeles to support the LAX project.
